Additional work may result in changes to:

  • Price;

  • Parts;

  • Labour;

  • Scope; or

  • Completion time.

32. Customer Refusal of Recommended Work

If a customer refuses recommended work, replacement, repair, safety measures, or other necessary action, Saini Battery may document the refusal.

Saini Battery may limit responsibility for problems directly resulting from the customer's refusal, subject to applicable law.

Where immediate repair is not possible, a temporary solution or replacement may be recommended.

37. Temporary Solutions

Customer-requested temporary solutions may be provided where technically feasible and safe.

A temporary solution:

  • May have limitations;

  • Is not necessarily a permanent repair;

  • May involve additional charges;

  • May still require permanent repair or replacement.

Saini Battery may decline a temporary solution if it considers the proposed work unsafe or unsuitable.

  • Compatibility;

  • Warranty implications;

  • Parts availability;

  • Technician availability; and

  • Safety considerations.

44. Service by Other Technicians

If another technician, service provider, installer, or third party works on equipment after Saini Battery has provided service, Saini Battery may not be responsible for problems caused or affected by that third-party work.

This does not remove any rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.

45. Equipment Relocation

Dismantling, relocation, and reinstallation of equipment should preferably be performed by Saini Battery or a suitably qualified technician.

Unauthorized relocation may affect performance, installation conditions, or manufacturer warranty.

Relocation, dismantling, transportation, and reinstallation services may be separately chargeable.

46. Dismantling & Removal

Dismantling or removal work is subject to feasibility and safety requirements and may be separately chargeable.

The scope of such work will depend on the particular equipment and site.

47. Customer Property at Service Site

Saini Battery is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or other matters concerning customer property present at or around the service or installation site, subject to applicable law.

Customers should secure valuables and other property before technicians arrive.

48. Pre-Existing Damage & Site Conditions

Where relevant damage or an existing condition is identified before work begins, Saini Battery may inform the customer before proceeding.

Customers should disclose known faults, previous repairs, modifications, damage, or other relevant conditions.

49. Equipment Handover

Where applicable, customers should inspect equipment at handover and report any immediately apparent issue within a reasonable time.

After handover, customers are responsible for proper use, operation, and routine maintenance in accordance with applicable instructions.

Handover does not remove or replace any applicable manufacturer or agreed service warranty.

Latent or hidden issues are not automatically treated as accepted merely because handover has occurred.

50. Removed & Replaced Parts

Removed or replaced parts may be retained by Saini Battery and disposed of or recycled through appropriate channels unless the customer requests their return before completion of the relevant work and such return is reasonably feasible.

51. Abandoned or Uncollected Equipment

Where equipment remains with Saini Battery after repair, inspection, or service and the customer does not collect it within a reasonable period:

AMC & MAINTENANCE

Saini Battery does not guarantee that equipment will remain completely fault-free during an AMC period.

Emergency or breakdown services outside the AMC scope may incur additional charges.

53. Service Repeat Visits

Where a customer reports a recurring issue after service, Saini Battery may inspect the equipment to determine whether the issue is related to the previous work.

Any repeat-visit coverage or service warranty depends on the specific service and terms communicated to the customer.

54. Complaints After Service

If a customer experiences an issue after service, the customer should contact Saini Battery first through the available phone or WhatsApp channels so that the matter can be reviewed and addressed where appropriate.

The frequency of testing depends on water quality, usage, and system requirements. There is no universal fixed testing interval applicable to every customer.

59. External Laboratory Testing

Where testing beyond the testing facilities available through Saini Battery is required, customers may need to arrange appropriate external laboratory testing.

Where applicable, customers should use an appropriately government-approved or accredited laboratory.

60. Water Testing Limitations

TDS, pH, and hardness measurements are limited indicators and do not by themselves constitute a complete analysis of water quality.

Additional laboratory testing may be necessary to assess other parameters or contaminants.

61. Water-Treatment Chemicals & Media

Water-treatment chemicals, media, salt, resin, and other treatment materials must be selected and used according to suitability requirements and applicable manufacturer or supplier instructions.

Dosage, application, storage, handling, replacement, and performance may depend on:

  • Water quality;

  • System design;

  • Usage;

  • Manufacturer instructions; and

  • Operating conditions.

Such products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable, subject to applicable law and any specific policy communicated by Saini Battery.

Additional visits or work resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information may be chargeable.

WARRANTY & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

63. Manufacturer Warranty

Where a product carries a manufacturer warranty, that warranty is governed by the applicable manufacturer's terms and conditions.

Saini Battery may assist with warranty claims where appropriate, but the final decision regarding eligibility, repair, replacement, rejection, or other warranty action rests with the manufacturer or authorized service provider.

Manufacturer warranty processing times and decisions are outside Saini Battery's control.
